Hello,
I have sale website, but I still a bit noobie I put products into posts, I have "subscribe widget" available in my website (now 8 email followers), I want that people must sign up to enter my posts (products), is sign up the same as subscription to newspaper (email followers)?
-if not, what's the difference, and how can I add it?
-will I be able to update users about posts?

can newspaper/signup improve my google rank?

I got the same feeling after reading this post. Or if you are looking for a way to grow your email list there's a lot of free wordpress plugins that you can add to your pages like "enter you email for our newsletter" and then it puts it in a list. You can then email that list with whatever promos you have.

Some wordpress widgets need you to use your own smtp for sending emails. I suggest http://TEARcloud.com they have free smtp you can use to email your leads with. Using a 3rd party smtp service like TEARcloud improves your delivery rates and your emails won't end up in spam, so I highly suggest it =)

yes i agree it was a bit vague, OP you can also get free newsletter plugins that use the native wordpress function, lots on wordpress.org. they're ok to start and then when the list gets bigger change it to a more sophisticated version

Don't use wordpress.com for your business site as you will have very limited option. Migrate to self hosted wordpress platform.

Yes
He is asking help for wordpress.com blog. Not for self hosted wordpress blog.

wordpress.com allows mailchimp integration. (although you can add other services like aweber to with bit of efforts)
And with mailchimp, you can have 2000 subscriber for free.
Its a paid service for larger list.
It always recommended to use external services like mailchimp, awber etc. You can send newsletter and email through mailchimp dashboard whenever you like. There are lots of customization options too.

2) I don't think that newsletter subscriber will have any direct effects on your rankings.
