Wordpress.com Blog Suspended

Hi,

I have, well, had a wordpress blog, which is about a week old, which got suspended and I am not sure why.
I created about 500 backlinks to it over the week, then the second tier to that had about 10000 links.

Would making that many links get it suspended? Are there certain limits to stay inside?
It had a couple of posts on it on a fresh IP.

making backlinks to ur wp blog has nthing to do with suspension i guess
must be abt content or somthing
 
Either the content or the links. Wordpress.com has been checking inbound links for well over a year (Since they chatted to Google before Penguin 1.0 in fact)

Poor quality links affect their sites (and a wordpress.com blog is THEIR site not yours) - they could lose traffic because in effect you are engaging in what might be described as a negative SEO campaign against their servers. You think it's good links..but they see them as the sort of links that might get them penalized for inbound link spam (again it is THEIR site you are spamming)

500 links is pretty borderline. I've had WP sites survive with more than that in week one, and others deleted for a little less. Depends on the niche, the content and the type of links and the variation as well. You haven't said what those factors are, but they will play a part.

Scritty: It was unique content I wrong myself, about 500 words, with a single link pointing to my money site, plus another short post pointing to a wiki site. I guess it was the backlinks or the single link in the post. Th anks

I hope you backed that DB up. If the articles are yours, then don't waste all that work. Buy a new domain, move WP blog over and restart.
 
what did you expect by blasting 500 links in a week.
Don't build too many links to your tier 1 which are hosted on Wordpress , blogger and Hubpages . I have seen they delete it quite frequently.
I generally build only 100-200 backlinks in a month to above web 2.0's
 
You are best off using blogger over wordpress.com, they do not tend to suspend blogs as much from my experience.
 
They trashed out one of my travel blogs as well over what I can find as nothing wrong.. it was nothing more then a news based site and no ads or nothing. So who knows..

When you're using a free platform, the product is YOU.

If you're not paying, then you shouldn't trust it for anything serious.

Blogger gets benefits from Google, but that doesn't mean you're safe with them. They can freeze your content and close your blog in a minute if they want to.

Blogger has a different approach.
They spy on you and collect data and they once or twice every they delete 10 000's of blogs with the push of a button.
 
They did this to me, it should tell you what terms and conditions you broke. I stated they were mistaken someone manually reviewed and I was able to continue as normal. Linking out to your main site in every post basically shows everyone that the blog is purely for SEO purposes and not adding any real content which is probably why Wordpress.com kicked your arse off. This against Wordpress.com Terms and Conditions.

Log into your dashboard and the terms and conditions you broke should be highlighted, if you click the correct link. Don't have a screenshot unfortunately.
 
Its a game. Iv had wordpress blogs taken down in weeks and iv have blogs that are still there from 2008 when i started IM. Its just like tumblr. Your either lucky or your not. So get used to that!

Sir, don't take me wrong but what about the word "Authority".Regarding to your words you're saying that making spammy back links can effect wordpress.com traffic so it means if i buy a dedicated server for a year and spam ebay till h3ll,will the ranking of ebay go down? and same with amazon.com.. if this can be happen then it is easy for a person having 500000$ budget to take down ebay and amazon and rank his auction site ?, please specify
 
Another reason why you should always have control over your blog network links in one way or the other. Dont spend money building out links to a site on wordpress.com when it can just get killed.

Never, and I mean never spend money doing SEO (time is money as well) on a free hosted blog site. Either invest in a domain name, or find a new hobby.

Ah, I may not have been clear in my post. It was a buffer site for backlinks. My simplified model is as follows:

Self-hosted money site <- Web 2.0 blogs(one was a wordpress, which got suspended) <- ~500 Backlinks <- ~10000 Backlinks

I will create a new one and try less backlinks and more outbound links.
 
outbound links are also important links.. you page may be suspended since you are linking to a bad neighbor..
