Wordpress Category issue

    Hi , i have a little issue in my Wordpress sites .

    Its a bit difficult issue not know how to explain it :D . I have seen this issue first time .

    When i add a new post in it automatically added to defualt category named "Uncategorized" . I have added 2 categories but theres in Add new Post there is no option of Categores .

    What shall i do ?

    when creating a draft, it is assigned to uncategorized.. If you select a category and save.. then go back into the post or refresh, is should have the right "permalink"

    Yes, in wordpress by default category is "Uncategorized". If you did not select any category then it takes "Uncategorized".

    Go to "Add new post" page in dashboad. There is "SCREEN OPTIONS" beside "HELP" click on screen options and check category check box then refresh page. Now category option will seen in "Add new post" page.

    Theres a plugin that ensures category gets renamed to a keyword. Try a google search

    Can you share your theme that you are using in your blog? I think, there is something missing in code, as most of the themes need manually customization to use properly.
