I'm trying to figure out what the best way is to create a large number (100+) of demo sites on my WP install to create sites for my (potential) clients. Ideally I'd like to have a way to create one master of which I can make several copies. I've already looked in the options below, but not sure which way to go and would like to get some ideas from BHW members on what worked for them...

- WP Multisite: Could work, but difficult to move sub site from one domain to another. And I find multisite sometimes difficult to work with...

- Separate WP installations: A copy of WP installed in subfolders on my main domain, eg: /site1, /site2. This would make it easy to move the site from my domain to a new domain...

Any other suggestions?

Separate installs is easier if you want to be able to develop them and then roll them out to a live server later. If you set up a script to create the DB and set up wp-config it should take no time at all when you want to set up a new one

New Separate installation is easy instead of wordpress.com/site 1 ,, site 2
