Wordpress Autoinstaller Script?

I'm looking for an auto installer script that will install wordpress 2.7 automagically I've tried butchering http://instantinstall.9milesmedia.com/wordpress/ to use a copy of wordpress hosted on my server but it won't unzip it because the unzip module or some shit isn't installed on the server

I don't have cpanel either.. basically my host is shit but I've a years worth of hosting + a bunch of IP's etc paid for and I'm getting tired of uploading wpinstalls all day long.

I tried the file manager thingy on the host but it won't copy properly.. and throws a spaz when I try to unzip files. I did get it to unzip a .tar file but the permissions etc were all lost... tried setting to 755 and had no joy

If you can get it working on what sounds like your crappy host, sorry. Then WPManagerDX is what you want and will let you setup new blogs in a couple minutes.

That script gives me a hard on but it needs cpanel which i don't have

Then time for some release. Dump the host. It'll hurt at first since you have the year and IPs but it'll save you much headaches and time moving forward.
