Hi Everyone,

Taking in consideration SEO and UX and UI: let’s say you know a lot about fish, aquarium and etc and you want to build a website with articles on how to do this, that, this and that (and trying to sell products in the middle of these articles or making money with AdSense).

Is it better to have Pages for all these articles or WordPress Posts (again, taking in consideration SEO, what is easier, etc)?

I appreciate your help guys

In terms of SEO, there's absolutely no difference,
Google won't know the difference between a post and a page through the page source code,
Internal links, page and silo structures and content itself is what makes the difference,

Using the posts will make it easier to make a better silo since you can attach them and link to a category, get next/previous and related posts links as well

Thank you. My site is more like a pyramid structure as I have one big article that I call Basic About Fish and it is linking to more detailed articles and they are linking between themselves!

But thank you very much ! I understood what y explainned.

This is called a pillar article, it's a common practice to have a few of these.
Posts are more convenient to work with than pages, and, like other members said, there's no difference in SEO.

I would personally use blog posts and embed products in them if I know there will be a dozen of articles on the site. Having too many pages is not an ideal strategy.

Actually both serves same in the SEO perspective
I prefer to blog posts than the pages when it goes as informational article

Page is usually done for static non-updated information.
Post is generally used for dynamic content which tends to update over time.

Pick one that fits your needs because no difference in seo (like what others mentioned)

Posts is a better option but there is no extra benefit of SEO on both options.
Just use proper Silo.

Posts and Pages have fundamentally different purposes.

Pages are used for the static content in your site like About, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Contact page, etc. Ideally you should have 5 to 10 pages in your site. (not a benchmark digit, just a logical suggestion)

Posts contain the main content of your site that is dynamic, can be/ should be updated/ changed regularly, These are the posts that make your site rank.

Is it better to have Pages for all these articles or WordPress Posts (again, taking in consideration SEO, what is easier, etc)?
Hence, you should use posts to write all your content. Keep writing more articles and keep updating old ones.

Hope you have got a clear idea on how to use pages and posts now.

I would recommend to use posts rather than pages for this.

If you have many articles go with post. if you not have much articles we use pages.

I think about your site, it is good use post. because you can post many articles about fish, aquarium niche.

Actually pages are also mandatory. also post are mandatory. It is depend on website category. your site mostly suit use post for articles.

SEO part it is not much affect if use post or pages. but it is affect for site structure. so post is good for gain good site structure.

I don't know about SEO but you can combine page and post if you are confused.hehe

I really appreciate your answers guys !!! Thank you so much

Both Pages and Posts can rank well in search results if optimized correctly for SEO. However, Posts are better for regularly updated content like blogs and tutorials, while Pages are used for static content like homepages and contact pages. For selling products or making money with AdSense, you can add links and ads to both Posts and Pages, but be careful not to place too many ads and make sure they don't ruin the user's experience.

Guys check this in google:

type in Arnold Schwarzenegger news, the results on google spot#1 (first pages) are topic pages.
What do you see there, what does it means for you? What logical conclusions do you draw from this?

Adsense? Really? In the past the last six years some people earned good money with micro sites and adsense but today only pennies.
Promoting affiliate products where you get a commisssion between $300-500 or do your own premium service business. (retainer model) .
