Wordpress Architecture

I'm wondering if there is a UML or diagram somewhere, maybe a technical document of how wordpress works, not how to use it, but how the CMS and system architecture is put together. I need to modify a proprietary CMS made in java and rebuild it, and I'm looking modeling it after wordpress.
