    Hello,

I am starting a new thread on my first attempt at IM. I have been reading posts on bhw for about 6 months now, and finally decided to sign up the other day (I don't know why I waited so long). Since signing up two days ago I have been reading threads non stop and have built enough motivation and learned enough that I am confident to give it a shot. I read a ton of threads from noobs like myself that are just begging to be "spoonfed" as you experienced bhw'ers say. I don't want to be spoon fed, I want to learn this and become good at it so I devised a plan and I am putting it into action. I am making a new wordpress site that is in the niche that I chose and I will be scouting clickbank for items that are (what I believe to be) quality, but have a low gravity.... Because to my understanding, the lower the gravity the lower the competition.

Today I watched a two hour long tutorial on creating a wordpress site and for the most part I understand how it all works. So far today I have joined hostgator and purchased hosting and a domain, and I have created most of my website. SO FAR IT IS LOOKING GREAT! I have completed my home page, my about us, and my contact page. Starting tomorrow I will be creating pages with "quality and detailed reviews" as well as testimonies from "actual customers" on whichever products I find to be suitable. I plan on making reviews for upwards of 10-15 products in the next week, maybe more. I still need to learn SEO methods, I don't fully understand it... at all... lol but there are enough threads on here that I will definitely learn it.

I'll be posting updates as to how things are going for me, what works and what doesn't every couple days or so. Any comments, suggestions definitely welcomed. Thanks for reading

If you are truly new to all of this, I have a friendly suggestion:

Instead of building a WP site abut every crappy CB product you can find, and patching them all together in review pages, just pick a single subject that you actually care about. Write 100 or so really detailed pages about your subject. When you are done, and you're proud of it, start figuring out ways to promote it a bit. When you start getting some traffic, because you have written so much great material, think about monetizing it a bit. Then keep adding more and more pages until you dominate your subject.

In other words (and much less words), create something meaningful and useful, write your ass off, go back and figure out how to make some money with it after the horde starts begging you for more.

    Good luck!

    gtull2,
Well Im not too sure how to pick the right niche for that yet, the one I picked is kind of general. I will embark on a project of that nature when im just about set with this one and can let it run on its own, because I still need to do a bunch of searches on bhw and read a ton more till I understand everything.
I planned on gaining traffic by joining forums that are based on whatever it is im trying to sell. I was going to make like 10 emails and 10 accounts for each forum and become active on them, and then once im noticed on the forums I was going to refer to my website.

    TODAY (So far)

I have added a new page with a full review and user testimonies on one product from clickbank. The page looks very legit and has a lot of (useful) info on it that should persuade someone to look into purchasing the product. I want to do more work but I have things to do....
Once I get back later today I will do more work and update.

    Okay, so...
I got back home a couple of hours ago and since have

    1. Added two clickbank products to my webite. Each page has a huge amount of info/ backround of the product as well as " real testimonies from users"
    2. Made a fake account on one forum that is about the product that I am promoting, used a real picture and tried to sound as real as I could, without making it seem like I was pushing a product.

I downloaded the google analytics widget and so far (since I have posted on the forum) my site has had 83 views. Not sure if that is good or if it is bad because I still haven't sold anything. Wish me luck

You need to encourage a goal - how much income will you earn with this thread? e.g: $1,000/mo. This can encourage you to succeed the CB.

Well, I have a goal but I believe I set it a little too high. I just want to see results, and then set a realistic goal and work to achieve that, and then set an even higher goal

    Hello, today I have:

    1. Added more information to my site
    2. Started to implement everything I have learned about SEO
    3. Added one more product to my site.
    4. Built backlinks on forums and social media

I am overly excited. I have been working on this website for all of three days, and today I made my first sale. I hope they don't request a refund! Now to put it in overdrive and try to scale up
