I use Prosociate for my shop pages on some of my eCommerce sites. I have my cron setup on my webhosting account to refresh every 5 mins. and it displays live pricing on the site. To stay within Amazon TOS, I place a pricing disclaimer on the product pages of my site.

Hi Dawgtown, what kind of hosting are you using, do you list many products?

Does your disclaimer need to be prominent on the page, can you put it in the footer or even on it's own page?

I have been using Bluehost as my primary webhosting account for several years now. They have really good customer service and pricing plans that work really well with the number of different websites I run. Also, I have never had any traffic related issues with their servers.

Prosociate will place a pricing disclaimer on each product page automatically when price information is more than 24 hrs. old. In addition to this, it is recommended to have the standard Amazon disclaimer: "CERTAIN CONTENT THAT APPEARS ON THIS SITE COMES FROM AMAZON SERVICES LLC. THIS CONTENT IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR REMOVAL AT ANY TIME." visible on your product posts (footer works fine).

Does anyone know if HostGator has the ability for the live pricing cron? Something I have very little experience with.

Yes they do, I tried to post a link but can't, just search 'hostgator cron job' in Google and you should find what you need.
