- If you want a feature that doesn't exists, good luck to learn php + wordpress coding (or you can spend money in a specialized developer).

- Their goal : take your money, nothing else.
- If you don't stick to their rules, you will get banned without refund.
- It's not your website, it's their !
- It's expensive.
- It can be difficult to scale up and migrate to a custom website.
- Good for hobby, not for serious projects.

- Other open source solutions will be a great alternative, try to find the one that stick all your requirements & that is easy to install (hard to find for specific cases).
For complex open-source projects, check if this is a popular solution with a good support, regularly updated, to avoid any issue like security vulnerabilities.
- You can also look at marketplaces such as envato market, where you can hopefully find the perfect solution for cheap.

But the best solution is to create an simple optimized static website (html/css), you will be better than most of your competitors, don't neglect your on-page SEO and it should be very nice (if you have coding skills, think about "jamstack" architecture and modern frameworks, maybe you can use a headless cms like strapi with a custom-made frontend).
If you don't have time to learn html/css, just go on fiverr, you'll find cheap workers that can do the job according your requirements, but quality can be a bit random.

I think the best alternative to WordPress is Shopify. I recommend you research it in detail. There is Wix, but it may be weak.

wordpress is king

wordpress with gutenberg is becoming so confusing today and all the plugins you need- 10-15 plugins is a lot for every sharing webhositng, imageine you have godaddy webhosting plan with 10-15 plugins... this is gaga, complete gaga......

Drupal is becoming a little little bit easier to handle for end users, now there is dexpr page builder ($10 month) relative easy to handle.
But their different -front end and backend theme structure is confusing and it's more complicated to handle, to configurate than wordpress.

You need module for contact, or pop up message, sign in form, that's it. But drupal with the minmal modules und core drupal is a lot ,ore heavy than wordpress, your page loading speed will be little slower on drupal, it's a heavy cms. But stable within his closed system and modules.
On drupal you not need to be worry about plugins from all the world often have malware codes in their backdoor.

Website builders I love them squarespace, gofuckdaddy....squarespace is really good.
But I doubt you can build a contenthub structure on your Home page with them to gain multiple serp listings, with wordpress and drupal yes that will work, but with website builders? These builders are not so SEO flexible as drupal and wordpress.

Why Drupal not make their cms easy as wordpress with an own pattern/blocks library with millions of patterns you can use to build your site?
