Looking for an easy way to recreate my autoblog setups now that yahoo pipes is set to crap out at the end of this month. Regarding my unique setup and pipes implementation:
1. Pipe pulls a random image from a folder on my website.
2. Pipe creates random title using keywords I setup initially.
3. Pipe outputs this in functional RSS format which is used to send content to blogs via feedwordpress.
4. Pipe randomizes everything well and also limits output to only 1 item ... which is 100% unique every time, i.e. unique title and 1 image from a possible selection of over 1000 images.
5. My pipes use all of the following modules - rss item builder, loop, string builder, xpath fetch, basic math modules like date builder to create random numbers.
From what I can see there is no easy way to complete my needed functions other than yahoo pipes, but I'm hopeful someone can show me some workarounds or alternate working solutions.
What I really need is an RSS feed which consists of random title, random image from hosted server (this would work even better perhaps if I could put ANY random embed code here, i.e. I'd like to use video embeds in addition to images) ... and that's about it. There must realistically be an easier way to automate the creation of my rss feeds. Thanks to anyone who can provide or point to better or working solutions.
