Some kind of crud generator in wordpress would be awesome (like gii in yii2. Google it.). Such things did exist though. It was called pod framework. Not sure if it still exists, but they turned a simple concept into a very complicated one. Stopped using it altogether after that.

The one thing I want WP to do is to automatically search for the text that I highlight if I click on the link button.
I understand that this is kind of a quality of life sort of think, and the market probably don't need another interlink assistant, but that's all I have
