Wordpress Account Banned?

Hey guys,

So I just installed a theme on my brand new hosting and freshly installed wordpress, newly created account today, and I uploaded a theme (It was a torrented one) and five minutes later, the website crashed and it says that my username for logging into wordpress doesn't exist. Did I get banned? If so how did they find out so fast? I'm just confused. Any help is appreciated.

Wordpress cannot ban you when you are self hosting.... There's a good chance you just have the login information wrong, that or the theme you installed had malicious code.

You surely got the wrong theme full of malicious code, no doubt.
Or try recovering the password.

It is definitely your theme OP. Look in our downloads section http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f29-member-downloads/
You will find plenty of themes with virus total scans.

dear if you have your self hosting. i don't think so your blog should be banned by wordpress. because wordpress banned a blog if you did any unnatural (unethical way ) post or make to much anchor with same keywords.

Hey
Either it is theme error
or your ip is blocked
if your ip is blocked,then go to admin pannel and restart it.

Next time use plugins like TAC, WP Antivirus, Wordfence etc for checking your themes and plugins for malicious code.

You probably installed a theme that has some nasty stuff in it, sence it was a torrent download, I never install anything that has been downloaded from torrent sites on my hosting server.

Cool! In WP, you will be notified immediately after logging in thus stating after you tried to log (and can't access the account) in; that your account was banned due to......

wordpress is just CMS. if you self hosted, All rights to bann or delete any users is yours.

There is some issue with theme, just delete the whole file+ database in your hosting and install a fresh theme that you can get from here in BHW Download section and enjoy with it.

Never Download any theme from from untrusted source.
