Word Press Themes...who and what?

Hi all,

I am a beginning WP User. I SEE SO MANY different themes and companies producing themes that i don't know where to begin.

The following companies all sell themes.

• Themeforest
• Woothemes
• Genisis
• flexsqueeze
• Optimize Press

Is there one good Theme Company to start with...that will satisfy most needs?

I am looking to build

• Landing Pages
• some websites for my friends (in business), and
• small businesses in my neighborhood.

Which Company or Theme would be Best for my needs?

I've used Elegant themes in the past. Think its $39 for access to about 50 themes. Some of them look great but Ive outgrown them and have found some other themes that are more customizable. Have a look through the archive http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f111-templates-themes/

Thats the adaptability of wordpress...install a theme play with it , if you dont like it install another.

I suggest themeforest. They a lot of high quality WP themes.

Been using WP for many years, there will never be a WP theme developer that's gonna met all the things
that you need in a WP theme. You will have to look around, test drive themes before buying etc.

they are all good , depending of your needs ... good thing is -> many of that themes aer shared here on BHW so you are able to try them at NO COST (if you like them buy them to support developer)
-> when you search for them on offical sites you have "live demo" to see theme in action

also a tip when searching BHW
lets say you are surfing themeforest offical site and you like Longpage theme
go to google and type in search bar

Hey thanks Guys!

I have a FlexSqueeze Theme....and its very cool. BUT i have little to NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to make changes to it (sigh).

They do have a membership for 3 mths that provides vids on learning the (their) Themes.

I recently got the uptheme from the downloads. Liked it so much I went and bought it. Cool easily changeable theme comes with all instructions
