Word Press / Sandbox (obvious Newbie question)

Hi Guy's, it's obvious im a newbie but im hoping you can all be kind enough to bare with me .

ive recently purchased 'sandbox' thanks to the plentiful recommendations on here but when i come to load it, it says 'needs write access' any idea what this means? i google it and wordpress comes up, when you download it it sends you back to a html code? its really confused me now lol

I think it means you need to change some file permissions on some file/folders. I'm not sure which ones but you can temporarily enable '666' permissions on all files until Wordpress is done.

Artful is correct. You need to grant write access via file permissions until everything is done.
