Word Press Plugin Updates Usually Make Things Worse

I assume this is something devs know, why else push updates if not to make the sites slower and more messed up, things are fine, why not create an update and ruin the party, congrats, today my page speed is running 96 mobile and tomorrow its 72...bravo, and now I get slow site speed flags in gsc... I get it that you assume I am an idiot so you can say correlation doesnt equal causation, is that supposed to make me forget that the moment I pushed your crappy update my site slowed way down..ooooppsss yea you right im a total idiot, and when my billing for your renewal doesnt process its not because I blocked your payment, remember correlation doesnt equal causation...
