I need to have a static page for my header and footer.
example: www.mysite.com/header.php where its just my header code.

Where are the pages stored? I can't find them anywhere

Is this a Wordpress page? If so /public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/classic/header.php or

    /public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/default/header.php

Can you rephrase that again? You just want the contents of the header.php file displayed in a page, is that right?

    online most of the time
all of the theme files are placed in the theme directory
    its usually:
    http://yousite.com/wp-content/themes/ThemeName/
you can edit the files by login in your wordpress admin
    and from appearance >> editor
    or by this URL
    http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php
there you will see the list of files that your theme contains including:

    404.php - 404 Template
    comments.php - Comments
    footer.php - Footer
    header.php - Header
    index.php - Main Index Template
    page.php - Page Template
    search.php - Search Results
    sidebar.php - Sidebar
    single.php - Single Post
    functions.php - Theme Functions
    style.css - Stylesheet

    hope this helps.
