If you can't tell, I am super excited!!!!! I'm 15 years old, and have been reading and learning about IM since I was 13. Anyways I decide to go with offline marketing, because I am great with CMSs and am fair at Flash and Fireworks. That aside, I have just received payment for 2 local websites for $850 total. But better yet, I have been "contracted" by another local company for a year of Seo/upkeep/reputation management for $3000!

So, if you are unsure if you can make money online, think if a 15 year old juggling school, sports, homework can make cash online, then anyone can!

Thanks. I'm working on 2 more sites now at ~$450 and waiting for payment on a $300 one :)

keep it up little man:D...u might just retire by the time ur 20:o

Glad you took action and decided to hit up the IM world. Now time to keep growing and expanding.

That's real nice bro, how did the company's take a 15 year old seriously though? Or did you carry out the business via email?

yeah man, anyone can earn a good chunk of money online, only thing I see which needed is taking action! You took and you are already on road to successland ;)
Congo man!! very happy to see you moving in this young age :)

Yeah I know, making money online is so easy dude.

I am a 5 years old toddler.
I walked into a local company last week and the VP just hand over 5 million dollars to me.

Go troll somewhere else.

do you ever speak with your clients or see them? do you just keep contact with them via email?

Great man, I am 15 years, but I have earned in my IM history just 200-300$ :(:(

Since you are 15, I am very concerned about this. Did you actually think this through? Do you have a written agreement in place? Do you have some set limits on what you have promised them or what they expect of you? If I post something negative about the company, how do you plan to do reputation management for them? Are they going to cover any extended costs that will arise, or do you have to do everything within that budget?

Be very careful with any long term agreements for a set fee. You may get lucky and be able to take advantage of this client, but I highly doubt for $3,000 you will be able to provide them with much actual value over the course of the year. I obviously don't know what you and then discussed privately, but if you don't really know them that well, its a very risky move if you actually value your own reputation.

Good luck in your future, but make sure you aren't writing checks you can't cash. It makes everyone look bad.

Nice, its pretty good if you made that much from just a few visits. How many guys did you contact?

Haha I bet they would shit a brick if they knew you were 15! Not saying you're not good enough, just people's normal perceptions.

I understand what you are saying an it's true. I didn't mean $3000 in a lump sum, $3k spread out over 12 months. The reputation management I told them its impossible to control what other people say, but I can write multiple positive reviews for them. For SEO, I have to keep them on the 1st page which is easy because the term they picked is less than 250 global searches. Also they pay for whatever I need.

The 2 website sales were out of 5 attempts, and seo stuff was one of 3 contacted.

Congrats! Sure anyone can make money online, all you need it some minimum it skills, proper enligsh and patience, since you can't grow to earn 5 figures over night, that is where most people fail.
