I just came across this viral website while looking at my Fbook timeline.
So basically what happens is:
- You find some interesting article abt whatever bullsh*t that catches your attention and you click on the link.
- It takes you to the website where there is a lightbox telling you to like the fbook page.
- After you like the page or close the lightbox you see a "social content locker" on the website which makes you "login into fbook" before you can see the content.
--- I've only gotten to this part because I don't want to login into fbook on the content locker---
What happens next is you get access to the content and it automatically posts the link to the article to your fbook profile where all your friends can see it. It's some kind of automatic spam plugin (if it's a wordpress website, I'm not sure if it is) that basically makes your visitors spam the link to your website for you so you don't have to do it. PEEEERFECT huh??
It's a Spanish website but that doesn't matter much. The website is zumbido.es and whenever you click on one of the articles the content locker kicks in.
This is what the fbook post looks like:

The zumbido name where the arrow points to is clickable and it takes you to the website. Does this mean it's an fbook app or what? Because when you normally post a link to an article, that doesn't appear...
This is what the content locker looks like:

Can anybody explain to all of us how this is done?
What's the plugin for the fbook page like lightbox?
What's the social content locker and how does it automatically post the link to the article on somebody else's profile page?
If you do this right, there's a lot of cash to be made! No need to bust your a** posting to fbook groups and constantly getting banned.
For all the experienced IMers here, please share your 2 cents!
