Wooo! Got my first clickbank conversion (Trying) with 100% conversion so far. Boo Yeah

Decided to get into clickbank after discovering an accidental sale I made in June playing around with clickbank. Had just about 24 hours at it playing with certain offers and I come home today to see I nailed one. No sale yet because it is a 7 day or 14 day trial for a dollar but regardless it goes to show you even if you are not familiar with something you want to try to make money (super noob with clickbank) it just takes determination. So if you are sitting there wondering can I do it? Just try! I tried!

I do need to ask though. is 900 : 1 : 1 a good conversion? never expected a sales page inquiry to end up being a sale. I really hope the rebill sticks for a few months or forever haha. It is a super high rebill.

So your conversion rate is 0.0011%, that's not great. Should be around 1 to 5%. But that being said, love the enthusiasm! Don't give up!

You should implement mailing list in your cb goliath campaign...works really good....put a popup to signup to mailing list and make a rss-to-email to that subscribes list using a email marketing service. To increase organic traffic I would also get cybersyn and the best spinner.

why do people care about conversion. All that matters is EPC.

So you started a thread cause you made $1 which may get refunded? Better to spend you time scaling and working hard testing and improving your method to get more sales than posting each time you make $1! Could have been a good offer, sales page or just luck you and not someone else got the affiliate commission. (last cookie wins)! You only know you are doing well when you see consistent sales from your method and not just the one sale that could have been due to anything!

You are right but since I am just starting with clickbank and figuring out what offers do what for my traffic not too worried about it. The banner does a hell of a lot worse than my adsense equivalent but I need to start somewhere so I don't mind taking the hit at the moment. Looking into making a double opt in email list now. Thanks for the idea.

Do you normally destroy the dreams of people trying new methods in IM or is this just something new? I posted the thread because I was excited for what little success I had so far. So what if the sale gets canceled? what my results are showing me is that I am going in the right direction and I want to share that with the community because this is something new to me and it might inspire others to give things a try. I don't need this method but it is just as exciting none the less.

You missed my point completely. I said work to scale and get consistent sales. You said you are getting result(S) but you only got 1 result which could be down to anything including a lucky sale. So concentrate on working hard to get more sales and scale it up if you can then come and post about your success! The point is keep your feet on the ground and stay focused and not jump on and down cause you made $1.

Not that great but congo, if you can do 1, you can do 100000.

Don't worry about that, I posted a thread when I made my first sale with Clickbank, and it was only a $13 sale. I was excited because I used the knowledge that I had gained from Black Hat World to develop a method of advertising that worked. Good job on making the sale, even if it was $1.
