I have experience on web development using Jekyll. I am currently making a a e-commerce site using WordPress with the Woocommerce plugin.
I am having trouble looking for guides on how to develop a theme from scratch which will be compatible with the woocommerce plugin.
I have spent hours on reading and watching videos on how to create a theme, I got the gist of it but, there seems to be a scarcity of information regarding woocommerce themes from scratch.
Can anyone point me to the right direction on starting to develop themes that are compatible with woocommerce? Not just creating a child theme.
I have no problem at all designing and developing themes for wordpress as I have experience on making my own frameworks on Jekyll.
I just need to learn the stuff that I need to integrate woocommerce to a new theme that I will be developing.
