Woocommerce problem

I manually created variable products using attributes and then exported the product so that I could just clone the listing but with different names and SKUs but the variants all remained the same. I did this for around 200 products each with 7 variants. They all uploaded with no problem and appear to be fine but when you go in to the actual attributes page only the original product is linked to those. It wouldn't matter if I wasn't trying to have the other products have use the same plugin a as the original which requires the use of attributes. Not only that but the order is messed up since it goes alphabetically as opposed to the way it is organized in the attribute.
