WooCommerce PayPal Sandbox Email Notifications?

Do email notifications work when using the PayPal Sandbox in WooCommerce? I'm trying to receive emails from paypal and my site, but I'm not receiving any.

I have created email addresses corresponding to the sandbox accounts.
