WooCommerce & Magento - How to spy on sales?

Are there any tools to allow me to monitor either WooCommerce or Magento stores, to see their sales, what items are selling, etc?

I thought there may be something out there that would continually monitor a website stock levels, or similar, that would give an indication of what items are selling and when.

I'm looking specifically for the monitoring of third party stores, so that I can spy on their sales, see what products are popular, etc.

I'm wondering if there's a tool that would be able to do this some how. Perhaps regularly check a given store's "available" quantities. So if a store has 10 items available, then the following day there are 8, we could conclude 2 have likely sold. And build up a trend/picture that way.
