Woocommerce High Abandoned Carts! Any solutions...

Hey family,

Last month started eCommerce store based on WordPress (Woocommerce) and ranked for one keyword.

I've made 6 sales till now (around $400) which is good start!

I noticed that the conversion rate is low... I started monitoring to see where is the problem, and I found that customers add products to cart but they don't buy!

I'm providing free shipping world wide! Any suggestions to improve the conversion rate? THANKS!

How much is the traffic from the keyword ranking?

Yep there are several plugins that work great. Search "abandoned cart" in the Plugin area you'll find several great options there.

I think I use the one by Yith cant remember. They send emails after several periods of time that you choose, you can customise the email etc etc.

I don't have email address to send emails... already uses one of those plugins but there sent 0 emails yet because there's no email attached to abandoned cart!

Well you should use AutomateWoo or Recover Abandoned Cart.

They have a javascript function where even if don't place an order the website will collect the email and send it.

Keep in mind it's important to make the email field the first one of the checkout.

Do you have a high shipping rate? Try having free shipping. Sometimes people abandon carts because they see a hefty shipping price.

Well you better get one then!

Doesn't your host provide some kind of email facility? If not just get GMail its like $5 per month

Forgot to mention:

One day I had 77 atc and 3 purchases on facebook ads.

After a bunch of tests I realized people from other countries didn't bought because it was in USD.

What I did? Installed a currency switcher so when they accessed from Europe the prices were automatically set for EUR.

Try it and let me know.

The plugin I mentioned keeps the emails, if they got past that stage, which is quite often as it's fairly early in the checkout.

Thank you I guess this is big reson becase my visitors from USA, UK, CA, Eurpoe. I tried so much plugins it's frustrating!

Create custom audience of people that did not purchase and retarget them with facebook ads and offer 20% off.
