There is this guy I met on the internet that is able to change his Woocommerce earnings without selling anything, making it seem like his websites are performing extremely well even though he isn't even making sales on them. It's not just edited screenshots I'm talking about, he proved it to me by letting me login into one of his website's admins and it actually shows in the Woocommerce reports page on WP. Does anyone have any idea how this dude is doing this? He doesn't want to tell, which I don't blame him for

Since WooCommerce is in question, he definitely changed the data in the MySQL Database. Since WooCommerce is integrated with Wordpress.
This is not possible with Shopify as far as i know, but with WooCommerce it is.

If you have any question, DM me.

this is scam probably
can be done by the core code of the plugins
or can be done by fake orders

Already answered by @stefcaam but you wouldn't blame us if we wouldn't tell you right?

Shopify won't let you do it since you don't have DB access. Another easy way (front end/wp-admin 'back-end') is ordering with fake info and marking them as paid.

I think you should focus on something of actual value instead of manipulating values in order to sell services.
You will be building something stable, instead of wasting time for short-term fraud income.

Best of luck.

Can't you just do collected "cash" for payments and itll show in the stats?
