    Hello BHW,

i have a problem and have to find a solution for it.

    What i have to do:

Create Woocommerce / Magazine Website where all the Products link directly to Amazon via the Partnernet URL (remove cart/registration/checkout).

    Now the Questions are:

a.) How can i disable most of the woocommerce functionality and link directly to Amazon via the buy button?
b.) How can i set the 90 Days Cookie so that i get comission for each sale from a User within the 90 Days?
    c.) I know this plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-amazon-affiliates-wordpress-plugin/3057503

i wanted to ask via the comment section if i can use the Plugin on multiple Sites and then found the last comment which is 30 minutes ago

"Ditching this plugin - this has seriously been one of the worst experiences I've ever had! You ought to be ashamed of yourself."

Since i dont need most of the functionality of that plugin i would like to use a solution which just uses woocommerce to display the product and i can add a button to send the traffic to my affiliate url.

Thank you in advance for your answers and help.

    Regards

As far as I know, amazon only provide a 24h cookie. Anything else is against their TOS.

Have you tried WooZone plugin? It kinda does what you are wanting. It's a big buggy to set up but I'm nearly there.

In fact, I could have asked this exact question a month ago word for word...spooky.

I believe its an option where the user adds the item to their cart when they click the button and then you get a 90 day cookie but ONLY for that item.

You will not get paid for the other items the user buys.

Thanks for all the replies, if the 90 day cookie only counts for products added to the cart through my affiliate link i think that option should be enabled by default, so any link will make use of this 90 day cookie.

I checked woozone (linked to it in the starting post), it contains a lot of modules and functions i dont need, i will have around 15-25 Articles in my Shop to which i link and advertise in the Sales Funnel Articles where i drive the traffic to.

So if i can just disable cart/checkout/registration and take the woocommerce product page and insert a buy button that should work perfectly for me.

You can try some plugin external products for woocommerce.

This is for anyone that is considering WooZone or any other products from the developers of WooZone. Do yourself a favor and find a different plugin. Even though I have sites that use this plugin I believe it is in my best interest to find a different plugin for my next site. The developers of WooZone are unreliable.

If you only have a few products maybe you should just write your own little template for the products overview and the product page itself. I haven't used WooCommerce yet, but maybe you also can edit the templates of it. Or maybe just check their API - maybe it's not that hard.

Thats exactly what i want to archieve, using the Product Page Layout from Woocommerce and just remove the Buy/Checkout Button and replace it with an Amazon Affiliate Button.

Im pretty sure many people had to do this before so i hope there is some research material around which would help setting that up, i am not very good with custom coding.

    hey,

maybe not exactly what you are searching for, but you could try AmazonSimpleAdmin. It let you place an article from amazon via ASIN and has some templates how it looks included.

    cheers

If you know which file exactly is responsible for the products page you can send me a PM with it. Since I want to do the exact same thing in the near future it would be a win:win for us. Just tell me what you want to achieve and I'll try it.

    Best Regards
