WOM Marketing - Old Method But Still Effective

lots of past scams were based on this method, definitely old-school but if applied correctly this method still has great potential, basically if you want to try this one make sure you twist it the right way

We all know that Google likes new content and also like user participation. Will it make a big difference to create a small portion of the home page with a lounge type of section. Webmasters can then use proxies or what not to make comments about the website or the product or the type of product being sold. It can be moderated and that way you can keep the lounge mostly positive.

I think if users start to see a lot of activity and comments, they will try to drop a comment or two to agree or disagree on what they are seeing. That way, you have more content, more user participation and thus more Google love, isn't it.

Yeah you can definately do something like that. It would work in a forum setup or a blog.

If your starting a forum then setting up multiple profiles and then having them interact with each other is a great way to seed the forum. This can be a lot of work though, but if done right it can pay off. Even after you have real members, you can use the WOM profiles to keep some direction in the forum until it gets large enough to sustain itself.

For a blog, you can use WOM accounts to leave comments or even to make guest posts. It's a great way to get some testimonials onto your site that can look legit. If you're lucky it may draw real people into conversations on your site.

edit - If you're using this method on your own forum or blog then you don't need to worry about proxies. The reason you need to use proxies is so that the sites your posting on won't spot what your doing. In most cases the IP address isn't shown pubicly, so if it's on your own website then no need to worry about that.

The reason you'll want to use proxies with this method is for when you're doing it on YA, MS, Digg, SU, etc. or on other peoples forums or blogs.

I found it it is really working for me,thanks dude.keep up the good work..

I think this is a fantastic method for SEO for Real Life business, ex. Question: "Who has the best pizza in Miami"... Answwer : "Luigis on 24rth Street"

Repeat this with about 20 different topics relative to a real life business and you can really see some traffic and rank for the things that are really important to that business.

Somebody reposted this albeit less detailed. This should get a bump. Very useful for newbies. Although I imagine Yahoo Answers has changed it's protocol since 2010 but there is a go around the changes.
