Woke up to eBay account suspended

I woke up to my eBay account suspended for 9 days and a message from a seller I guess who is a competitor. The message was “”hahahahahahah” and I don’t know what to do.

How is it even possible for him to get my account suspended like this? It said some of my items were counterfeit and it was a damn radio a vintage radio as well as a lamp shade.

How can those items be counterfeit? I don’t believe in messing up anyones livelihoods but he has got me out of 9 days worth of revenue any way to get him back I’m not the type but it was wrong for him to do that.

report the message to the eBay team, and based on my understanding, they will support manual review and AI-based account recovery.

Send a ton of bad reviews to his account simple.
 
If you set up a few accounts from diff emails then buy things and cancel it then your entitled to leave each other reviews. But if he has lots of good feedback, when he starts getting bad reviews he will start wondering what the heck is going on. Lol. Not sure if this is the right way to go about it though. He seems a horrible dude so he deserves it for leaving messages like that.

That's a dark path you are wanting to take.

Don't waste your time like this other person is doing. as long as you contact eBay and stay within the rules you are fine. Don't waste your time trying to attack others, spend it making more listings or sourcing. Forget this fool.
 
It's a nightmare getting through to ebay also. There is no phone number to sort it out with them. They do have an online chat i think but that takes forever also. ebay is a disaster to work with. I had a few account on there with them and quit. I cant be bothered with the hassle of it these days. Especially even today when you have tossers like that idiot getting accounts banned for no reason.

So what is your advise to this guy then, to just quit like you did?

Not sure why you think they don't have a phone number. It's easy AF to get through to them. Like it takes less than 2 minutes and you're speaking to a real person every time. As far as customer service goes I would have to give them 5 stars. Depends what your doing on there though and if you're the type of seller they wont or don't want. If a user is one of those sellers that just causes them problems and are selling things for just a few dollars profit and getting constant returns or complaints then I'm sure they don't spend too much time with those people.

3 options:

1. Report the lad to Ebay, explain the support. And see if there's any way to appeal.

2. Get a Russian hacker from a shady Russian Forum to conduct some OSINT on this lad and gather any info to your advantage. Report them like they did to you, get spambots to flood their reviews, wreak havoc.
This won't get your account back tho. And you won't really make any money.

3. Get a Russian hacker from a shady forum to get personal info about this lad. Hire a mercenary.

LOL... Usually i am not a quiter. I just quit ebay, because instead i went off and set up my own online marketplace platform which does okay since it's been operating for quite a number of years now. I will be bringing my platform to BHW soon enough with some tasty offers. The guy that got his ebay account banned on this thread, that sucks and there should be things in place for idiot sellers like that. That guy should of been banned instead of this guy. That's why ebay sucks and always will.
