The better way is to just install mysql into the bot simple ......No there nothing that you can do to fix the problem permanently. FL is an awesome bot but the scraper sucks.
before the recent updated the FL scraper worked like this.
The scraper had a limit of 200K if when the bot is used to follow and scrape, after reaching the 200K in the scrape list it will stop following. If you contacted the FL support they will tell you to empty the scraped users and the problem will be "fixed".
True the problem is fixed and you can follow and scrape again but if you scrape from the same acc it will start from the beginning and you are back to 0. The only solution to this problem is to add a new source for scraping but there is a big problem what if the page that you where scraping is let say is 1milion followers big, so you are missing the other 800K followers to scrape and follow.
This is a problem for most of us and FL support are giving you a short term solutions so you can start following again.
But there is another problem, the blacklist. Every time you unfollow someone that didn't follow you back will end up in the blacklist. FL uses the black list to check every acc before following to ensure it didn't follow it before. You don't want to follow the same person over and over again.
The problem here is as the blacklist is growing FL need more and more time to check a new acc if it was blacklisted and eventually it will start following less and less daily and you will wonder why.
If you contact the support they will tell you to empty the blacklist to fix the problem. well fuck you that does not solve the problem its only fixing the bot.
After the recent updates FL scraper is not functioning the same as it use to.
As I noticed the scraper does not keep the users it followed on the scrape lists and its kinda fixing the scraping limit. Eventually the scraped users that aren't being followers becouse of your following filter will pile up and reach 200K.
This might sound like a better solution then before but know somehow the blacklist is being used more often now as FL when scraping it checks the blacklist to see which users where been followed before it scrapes them.
FL is actually not trying to fix the problem, the only permanent way is for us to have a scraper that is capable to scrape BIG acc and then slit that big list into 200K users per list to feed FL.
The only way FL can fix the blacklist problem is to change how the blacklist is stored. They are storing the users in one file and over time it will be big enough to cause problems.
I only see one solution to this problem to store the usernames into multiple blacklist divided by the first letter or number. When Fl need to check an acc it will use the first number or letter of the acc to go to the appropriate blacklist and check it. This will make FL more efficient instead of checking a list of 1Milion blacklisted users it will check a list of 50K.
