A lot of you use WizardRSS for your autoblogs. We experienced some technical issues for several hours today which caused our homepage (not autoblogs) to crash. We have recovered all info and WizardRSS is now back up and running.

We are currently working on the feeds working in foreign langs as well.

WizardRss is a great website. I am using this for few of my websites. I am now creating a website relating to Tattoos and i want images to be posted on my site. I found a site which post some beautiful tattoos and that site has got RSS feed on it and the name of the site is latesttattoodesigns . com . Here the problem is that i am unable to extract the images through RSS feed, i tried with wizardRSS which is unable to extract the images. Plz help me in extracting the images from the RSS Feed of latesttattoodesigns . com

That blog is not just truncating their rss feeds, they actually have them disabled to just display the title. Therefore, the WizardRSS algorithm is not able to determine what is actually part of the post and what is not.

I will work on this for you though.

Also, if you are interested in getting images for your blog, I always suggest to people to use the custom rss feeds from websites like Photobucket.

Here is their tattoos rss feed:
    Code:
    http://feed.photobucket.com/images/tattoos/feed.rss
    Here it is on WizardRSS:
    Code:
    http://www.wizardrss.com/feed/feed.photobucket.com/images/tattoos/feed.rss

All WizardRSS feeds display the 5 most recent posts and are updated every 30 minutes. So, you can pull ten posts an hour (240 posts per day) from EACH FEED. If you have multiple feeds autoposting to your blog then their will be more posts.

Also, keep in mind, we can't just make posts appear ;) If you are getting feeds from Yahoo Top Stories and they don't have any new posts for 7 hours, then our feed will not update for those 7 hours.

tired wizardrss but ran into the limitations too quickly.

switched to fivefilters dot org which is free and allows a self install so I can pull as many feeds as I want no issues.

Do you have the code for the fivefilters self install? I'd love to look at it
