Wix.Com Websites Can be Downloaded?

I'm thinking to use Wix for my new web design company but as a free user you can get a free subdomain from them.

As a premium from what I understood you can remove the branding.

I'm looking to be able to downlad the websites files,flash,html etc so I can upload them to my own host.It's that possible?Or any way around it?

Checked through their wiki and it appears they don't allow it. I'm not sure if there'd be a way to rip the site, if you chose to, but someone else might have more answers regarding that.

I think i have an answer. I do not know if passed from kings but IDM internet download manager has a function to download the content of a site but this is not like a backup restore it makes dirs and you have to ipload what you want. you must evolve
 
Download Offline explorer and rip that site. I think you need 5 minute to download hole site ;)

you can use Webreaper, it's free and downloads everything and puts it into folders. This way you can just upload the ripped site folder to your server and it should work.

It's preatty hard to Rip a wix website as I saw,but if it's possible and dosen't require much time i'll do it,dosen't matter.It's so easy to create a website with wix and thei're templates are awesome for any business.

I found a tutorial on how to do it,but i'll wait untill tomorow because I have to download some big programs like adobe flash for example.
 
Webreaper doesnt' just rip your personal url it looks like it is ripping the entire WIX site.
 
Wix fucking pisses me off. I spent hours coding up a nice site with sliders and all that shit noobs like for my class and my fucking teacher tells me the site he made with a fashion template in Wix is what he'll use instead because his little Wix template works in IE 5 (what he and the school uses) and mine doesn't so well.
 
Just move to TrendyFlash guys,costs some money but the price is shit.
 
you can't rip wix sites, even with HTtracks or Flashgot, or any other tool

Just try you'll see

You can set the crawl depth in the options somewhere. Not sure if it will work with wix though because this is pretty secured.

You can use the embed code and put it in a html file on your own server. You can remove the bottom bar from the embed code and put the embed code in a div with overflow:hidden and 10px less width. This will remove sidebar but you'll still see wix logo when loading.
 
I would really like to know this as well. I would love to be able to do this. Host Wix site on my own server.
