With what website did you apply for CPA networks ?

ok, i've spent 10 minutes searching for a thread like this and i didn't find anything

I just wanted to know with what kind of website did you apply for CPA networks ? Or for other adult affiliates ?

a general website that appeals to a wide range of people, i'd say a news-like website would be best, but a website with lots of articles and content wud do just fine

Some good considerations are:

- lots of content
- good about page
- privacy statement
- tell cpa you want to use banner ads on your site for method
- make it look as "nice" as poss
- I heard some ppl like lots and lots of text content and less media content e.g. this may cause a copyright issue if you are posting pics and vids in content on the site

I am interested as I am in a similar situation. I want to take time to create one site that is almost definite to get accepted then use for all rather than messing around with being rejected.

There are some ways of applying through telephone - search for that here.

Sites I was thinking of were article database (although would take ages), news (be careful of poss copyright stuff), tech or corporate style sites would do well.

You can also pay someone here to build a site specifically for it.

landing pages is the best... it shows that you know what you are talking about and you have been in the business for quite sometime.

All this kind of ''sites'' should not be accepted actually, unless you're hitting 10-20K UVs daily. They should accept you after the site gets established, not a few hours after it was made.

Id use biggaybears.com it will get you approved everytime

I applied to about 30 a few days ago using pofeckers email marketing angle. So far i've been accepted to 17, clickbooth declined and waiting to hear from rest.

P.S. Only had 1 phone call

I used my myspace resource site, which is loaded with content and ideal for a lot of the offers I wanted to promote (entertainment, weight loss, dating, etc.).

I used a site built by BHW member Roadie.
Looks professonial. Then I made an outline of the stickys posted here on CPA approval.
Told them I sent people right to the offer without a landing page....
I applied to 6 networks, got aproved for all.

Unless your site is total crap you can usually get accepted with just about any site that doesn't violate their TOS. It helps if you know what you're talking about for the phone call too.

i actually do own a couple of established websites but i wanted to see what kind of website would be the best for that

I have a lot of sites too but saw someone here that makes sites for people just to get accepted. I looked at their example and just made myself a new site with all the same kind of info that says I am an internet marketing company.

Pick up the phone people. A simple phone call has gotten me into every network I ever wanted whether I've ever sold anything for them or not. Just let the person you talk to know your intentions ... "I build pages around offers, I want to browse your offers and payouts and see what I can do for you guys." That single sentence has never failed, I'm approved instantly while I'm on the phone 99% of the time.

I create an advertising agency website ... looks like i'm an advertising agency. But really you don't even need a website to be accepted, depends on the network, and yeah if you call them it's easy to get approved as long as you're not a monkey on the phone

I have a travel cum news blog revolving around US and got accepted into almost all CPA.

I use a simple blog, content all with caffinated content and it have worked just fine for me. I haven't been doing CPA for so long time and I am not with so many networks... yet but I'll get there...

I think that most AM's know that one often do have several project and the site one have today isn't neccessary the same one will work with tomorrow. It's more important that one pick up the phone when they are calling and that one can give reliable answare to their questions. Most often they seems to ask how one will drive traffic to their offers and generic growth (long term) as well as PPC seems to be what they like to hear (bet there are other ways of driving traffic that will do just as fine as answare too).

I did get questions about my site from one network I applied to when they called me up and I just said that it was the site I felt was in most need of work to get back on track and that's why I was looking for some new fresh offers to work with. I also told the AM at that time that it was all autocreated content and that I had choosen that solution to not loose SERP listings until I had found new products or offers to monetize. I did get approved directly.

I also have used gmail as contact mail and also apply as a private person which haven't been any problem, at least not until now. And that even though many say's that one should have a company, a corporate site and never use free mail solutions to get approved. Only MaxB didn't approved me but I don't know if I missed their phonecall or if it was the site that made them turn me down.

Just wonder why everyone seems to think that it's so hard to get approved?
