With how many blogs should we start a new blog?

There’s no magic number really, it’s more about having a solid base of quality content when you launch.

I’m also new to this, but from what I’ve read, it’s better to start with a few quality posts rather than a large number. Maybe 5–10 solid articles to begin with, all helpful and well-written. I think Google values consistency and quality over just quantity, so it feels more manageable as a beginner too.

There’s no fixed number that impresses Google

What matters more is quality + consistency I’d suggest starting with 5–10 well-written, properly optimized posts then publishing regularly

Google values freshness relevance and helpful content over bulk posting

It’s not about how many posts you publish, but how well they’re structured and connected. For a new blog, I’d focus on 10–20 high-quality, well-organized articles that cover a specific topic (topical relevance), with solid internal linking. That’s usually enough to give Google a clear understanding of your site.Quality + structure > quantity.

To start a new blog and make a good impression on Google, you should publish around 10–20 high-quality posts initially, focusing on valuable content, basic SEO optimization, and user experience; more important than the quantity is maintaining a consistent posting schedule so Google sees your site as active and valuable.

A good starting point is 5–10 high-quality blog posts. This helps Google understand your site and makes it look complete. Focus more on quality, relevance, and consistency rather than just the number of posts.

A good starting point is around 5-10 quality posts so your blog does not look empty when someone visits. It just feels more complete and trustworthy that way. But honestly , consistency matters more than the number at the start. Posting regularly after launching usually makes a bigger difference.

no fixed number, but I usually start with 10–15 solid, well-optimized posts so Google can understand the topic and structure of the site.

For a new blog, I'd say start with at least 10–15 solid posts before you even think about indexing or promoting it.
Google doesn't just look at one post, it crawls your site as a whole. If you launch with 2-3 posts, it signals a thin site. 10-15 posts shows topical depth and that you're serious.

I usually kick things off with a small batch of posts that cover the core topics I want to build on, then fill in the gaps as I go. What helped me most was linking the posts together so Google sees a clear path instead of a bunch of lonely pages. Even a handful of solid articles can look way more put together if they connect and answer related questions people actually search for.

For a new blog, aim to launch with 5 to 10 pillar posts. This gives first-time visitors enough content to explore, helps search engines understand your site's focus, and proves you are committed to the niche. If you prefer to start sooner, publishing 1 to 3 well-researched articles is perfectly fine to get the website live.

I’ve found it helps to post enough pieces that your site doesn’t feel like a half-empty room, but not so many that you burn out on day one. I usually start small, then add posts on a steady schedule so Google sees the site breathing. Mixing in some internal links early on also gives the whole place a bit more glue, so things feel connected instead of floating around alone.

There's no magic number, but launching with 10–20 well-written, relevant posts can help create a stronger foundation. I'd focus more on content quality and topical coverage than hitting a specific post count.

There's no magic number. For a new blog, 10-20 quality posts are usually enough to build a solid foundation. Focus on useful content, good internal linking, and consistent publishing rather than chasing a specific post count.

There is no exact number, but I like to launch a new blog with at least 10–15 quality articles covering different topics in the niche. This helps Google understand the website better and gives visitors more useful content. Quality and consistency are usually more important than publishing a large number of posts at once.
