With Google Places is SEO still possible?

Do you offer services to get their place ranked better or are you setting up their place for them, I'm wondering because I am kind of lost about what I would have to offer(SEO) if they already have a Google Places. I'm not exactly sure how to ask this question, if it needs to be clarified let me know. Thanks.

I have offered this to people before. If they already have one, you can offer to analyze it to make sure they have optimized it correctly or completely. For the most part it's a small part of overall services.
