How much should a blogger worried about AI generated content in bulk used by people ?

Question is: Many people are now using AI platforms to write auto generated blogs instead of doing their own research. How It will affect the bloggers who are doing all the hard work and taking care of SEO, Manually doing research etc.

When you can get the job done get similar results while investing a fraction of resources and time...THAT (to me at least) is the meaning of working smarter.

This is far from the truth and your thinking is 100% wrong my friend.
The reason why people switch to AI-based tools is NOT because their (or our) manual work sucks but because we can get a hell lot more work done in a fraction of the time while sustaining a decent level of quality.
Of course, I am NOT saying AI-generated content will beat a human writer in terms of quality.
At least, not vs a decent one.
But, it gets the job done way faster while, again, sustaining a pretty decent level of quality.
For the sake of argument, let´s say my manual work has a level of quality of 95% (this is NOT an actual number but it will serve to prove a point) and it takes me 4 hours to do it while if I implement AI-generated content, it will take me 1 hour and the quality levels will be around 90%.
Do you think it will be a bad idea to switch to AI-generated content?

Generating worthy content with the help of an ai does take pretty much work and effort. Using ai content writer doesn't mean you are free to lay on the couch and watch TV.

Well, I guess it mostly depends on your quality standards.
Clearly, we have other expectations as I don't see how the quality of AI generated content is decent.
But I see people stack $$$ using it so it works. I'll give you credit for this.

I use Rytr to help me with my content writting, i don't 100% rely on it, but i edit the content to my liking; if i would use the manual way, a 1000 words article with all the research done would take around 3-5 hours and even if i want to write a new article after that one, i can't because english is not my native language and i reach a "vocabulary wall" where i can't seem to find new words or a different writting tone.
With Rytr i would write a 1000 words with research done in less than a hour, and i won't reach that "vocabulary wall" because rytr will provide unique outpout each time.

That depends on the kind of stuff you are writing. If all your content is basically regurgitating the top-10 articles, your competitors would have an upper hand cause thats what AI writing tools are helpful.
If you are writing completely original content however, there isn't a huge benefit using AI tools. Transformer models like GPT-3 today can frame original sentences or make several permutations of words into coherent sentences to make it seem like an "original thought". But they can't make completely new original ideas.
If your niche demands that, (like if it's technical writing or product reviews), then there's no big benefit.

Those who only rely on AI can't expect to see some great results, really as their texts won't sound natural and will contain some mistakes. Even if someone is using properly and modifying it manually as well, the unique and original content will always be on price, nothing can change that, so don't give up on this approach of writing, you will always get more, one way or another.

AI content is good but it isn't as perfect as human writers.
A successful blog has a good researched content that's engaging.
AI cannot guarantee you both accuracy in research to organize the content structure and engagement.
On top of that content optimization is an important factor if organic traffic is what you're targeting.
Optimization again can be done with AI but the human element can't be ignored.
So, AI is great for blogging if you have yourself or your VA's trained to use it else the AI output will always go into the filler category.
AI content is great for autoblogs and link building.

I think AI combined with a but of editing is a powerful method. The sheer bulk of articles added with a human touch would surely rank, given the KW research was done properly
