Wishing Those In Paris Well

Religion is nothing more than ideology and it doesn't matter how many people follow it, it's still an ideology. There's nothing wrong with making fun of communism, despite that there's a Kim Jon Un somewhere that gets offended by that. If Paris Hilton would say she believes in unicorns on a national TV, no one would mind reporters making fun of her, drawing pictures of her sitting on a pink unicorn.

I'm not a bad human being, but according to most religions, I will suffer in hell, I was born in sin, I must beg for mercy, etc.... Is that not mocking and making fun of me? I'm sure I could find many drawings of sinners like myself burning in hell with only sin of not believing in god in many churches. So what? Freedom of speech, freedom of opinion.

I just don't get the dual standards... Jesus was also a prophet as said in Quran, but no one freaks out when people make fun of him and he's drawn everywhere. They even make statues of him. So what?

It's my opinion too. But what can anyone do about it. Everyone is to blame for making it so important. The real thing is really inside everyone, but all of them are searching for it outside, and madly and with lots of ego attached to it. That's the tragedy, or call it mockery...

But mocking surely isn't the same as abusing. We allow others to mock the people we love. If they were actually abusing them then I would kind of understand a little more.

Faith going from one generation to another.. Indoctrination, brainwashing ? In my opinion this is why religions like to get to children when they're very young, before they have a chance to think for themselves. Just my opinion.

If people do not live their lives to be concerned with what others have to do, then why are you so concerned about the murder of those people? Better you remain concerned with your own life.
