Hello lounge. Which one you find yourself using more?

Thinking about getting some wireless earphones and "progress" a little bit. I see the advantages, and the cons for me will probably be low quality audio as I'll go for some nameless cheap ones within my budget. Which is fine as I just listen to people talking in Youtube videos.

Have you bought wireless and found yourself going back to wired?

I have Beats wireless earphones and I use them every day.

I also have poly wireless headset which is decent, but not as good as the beats.

They’re both most suited to calling and general music listening but if you are serious about music you might want some better over eat headphones.

I tried the over-ear headphones last week in a shop, I think they were beats, and the audio quality of them was insane.

I have a couple of pairs of over ear wireless headphones.
One I use for when I go walking they are cowin. They have a good sound but also an amazing battery life. It says 30 hours and it does last that long.
I was looking at the new Apple ones but they cost over £500. Don’t think I can justify spending that on headphones.

Try this one, mate

Wire for hi-end
Wireless for smartphones

Have headphones dali IO 4 and on wired connection i need only hi-end player. With wireless I don't care what quality have music.

Go for wireless.

The cable's annoying, I would never go back.

Earphones? Wireless for sure. If you meant headphones too and you're an audiophile, wired is still king though.

I would buy wireless if I have spare money (just to show off)

But, wired seem much better
1. No need to charge
2. Very cheap and so easy to replace
3. Work with almost any device including microphones and cameras

The only con I see is that phone manufacturers have been actively removing them for no sensible reason.

I'd go for wireless. (depending on your budget)

The quality difference between wired and wireless isn't massive in my experience, and wireless are useful for exercising. Also, batteries last forever nowadays and charge very fast.

However... if your budget is small, go for wired. Squeeze out some extra quality.

Wireless is the way to go, but not cheap ones. These are nice Jabra Elite 85t

Wireless earphones for smartphone and Wired headset on PC

Wireless earphones on my phone and a wired headset on my PC.
Pretty much all decent wireless earphones will sound the same as a wired pair.

Use Airpods for mobile activity, while in front of PC I use AKG headset connected to Focusrite, for a real non boosted audio, nothing beats flat headphones

Wired or wireless, both headphones have their advantages. Wireless headphone may seem quiet handy to use but this lacks transmission. Not recommended while playing live games as sound may lag and disturb your user experience.

I have some wireless Skullcandy ones for music. Pretty decent tbh, and were pretty cheap, like 40 bucks
