Winning voting contest by IP-Changing bot

i'm in a blogging contest that allows visitors to vote without any verifications or sign up, Once i use VPN I can get myself a new vote So i used a bot to automatically change my IP (I change Country IP everytime from premium Hotspot shield) and technically I can get myself a 1000 votes within 1-2 hours

The idea is: Might I get knocked out from the contest? I already using cookie blocker extension.

Depends
Its quite easy to make a list of datacenter IPs (and 99.9% of VPNs use such IPs).
Its also possible in many cases to see if person is using VPN or not.
+ many other less or more advanced things.

In short - if there is any IT guy hired by person/company who run this contest you may be knocked out.
