yup I just got that,

Problem is, My Nero Trial I downloaded won't burn in free trial and MAGICISO only does 300mb in the free verison help.

I got the image and the files and folders needed for this DISC to happen.

ARGH Nothing there.

I got the boot img and the stuff I need, I need something that does BOOT IMAGE and then you add the files in a sub folder basically.

Was able to make a DISC, but it keeps saying my product key is wrong. I did Key Finder and the Key is Different then the sticker, But I typed that in as well and it said it was still wrong. I'm wondering if theres something wrong with the burned disc. Also I got x86 xp,.

Try some keys from the usual places. Eventually one will match.

are you sure that you had xp pro and not home? most machines were bundled with home

i'm wondering if you got that iso burning right, because when you write an image file, you don't add no files to any subfolders, you won't even see any folders for that matter, the files are packed into the .iso, basically you're unpacking the content with burning and that's when you will see folders

Download magicISO and burn it to a DVD and put it in on boot. good to go. If you need help message me and ill help you.

Download a fresh ISO from here (make sure you get the correct version) then trying installing it via USB
http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/26911-The-Windows-XP-Repository

Try the USB install tool:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool
or Rufus
https://rufus.akeo.ie/
or Universal USB Installer

then try installing from USB.
Windows xp can't be installed on USB. The Microsoft tool is for vista and higher. Though there are several alternate ways to do so, but those are complex enough a d it will be a good choice to use disk.

It can be done. I've tried install my Laptop several times with Windows XP via USB Flashdisk. It works perfectly and faster than using Bootable CD.

LAPTOP Does say WINDOWS XP PRO.

I do have a tower that happens to have a WINDOWS XP sticker on it's side. Could I use that same code even though it's installed on the tower? Isn't it LIMIT 2 of have many Devices can use the same software disk and key ?

It still works with XP

Installing via USB is so much faster that it is worth trying it.

See this is what I mean't by SUB FOLDERS Etc.

Perhaps you can spot what I do not need. I got the IMAGE and Folder of Files that this guy speaks of

I don't think that guy actually understands what an ISO is.

If you have the actual ISO DISK IMAGE FILE then you can just burn it, you only need to extract it if you need to make changes to your specific requirements.

You don't even need any special software to do it if you are using Windows 7 and Windows Disc Image Burner
