Ok, I know this doesn't belong here in the seo section but there really isn't anywhere else to ask.

I've got an xp upgrade disk and I need to do a clean install on a new hard drive, but I don't have a previous windows version handy to get it started. I know there's a way around this, like making a folder called nt somewhere on the hard drive or something like that to trick windows. I've done this before successfully but can't seem to find anything in google on how to do it.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

download a copy of an XP OEM CD and use that... That's where I got mine. Or, if you have a valid license, just call them and they'll send you one.
