Windows VPS suggestions

I'm looking for some cheap windows vps
my applications are quite light, as long as the RAM is not less than 1GB it should be fine
So far I've been using chicagovps.net, their prices are crazy low, like I got few server for 19$ each for 6 months! I'm sure even only the Windows server licence is more expensive!
obviously they are not so stable (50% of the times I deploy one I need support assistance), so I'm looking for some alternatives

any suggestion?

Really? I have two chicagovps windows vps and had no issues.

I don't realy have a max budget, just looking for the best quality/price ratio. As said cpu and HDD are non important, my applications runs fine on a single core cpu and 20GBs. I'll be glad to pay a little extra to be able to clone instances instead of building a new one from scratch

yeah, but is kind of a roll of a dice. Have to admin that support always replied quickly and solved every problem I had

yeah, I figured it out as a potential risk since the admin pass is always the same, idk if that's common practice

What?? people, you have to change the default Administrator password! They tell you that in the email and its pretty obvious. Anyone who has purchased from them could just keep testing the IP range they own and look for a box with the default password.

No serious company will throw a default password at your face and tell you "Hey, here is your password, but be fast changing it or someone might hack your VPS. If it happens, it is not our business..."

Believe me, I've tried a lot of different VPS providers, and this is a terrible practice. They are losing potential clients because of a simple issue that could be easily solved.

What if during the time frame while you are having a look at your new VPS settings someone gets access and kick you out? Will you blame the client? This goes against all healthy practices of customer support.

I've used 4 vps providers and all had a default password. It's not hacking if you leave the default password.
 
You can get a decent Windows VPS with shape.host with that price. I'm currently using them and It's very reliable.
 
OP checkout sharkservers, Support is really good and they got fast servers.

great prices indeed, so I placed a order. I selected win2012, but they deployed a server with 2008. Asked the support and they rebuilt the machine with 2012...which was not activated! I understand that a cheap provider may have some issues, but they don't look professional enough to me. Thanks for your suggestion anyway

@atlocc well right now I use SolidSEOVPS, been using them for a long time no problem. Awesome support.

Was suggesting Serverhosh because they are the cheapest priced and had good reviews in their thread here.

ok, your suggestion is clearly partial, since you gave me a referral link, but I have to admit this is the only one that offers additional features at a cheap price, I may give it a shot, thanks. Anyone tried this before?

Its nearly impossible that with windows 2012 Standard addition you will be able to get it at a cheap price. A legit activated version anyways, Why? Because even as a microsoft reseller, the licenses are about 15 bucks a month.
 
You could slash your current Windows VPS bill by going for a host that will load up Evaluation copy of Windows. Try using your own Windows ISO that you can get from somewhere for free and upload it into one of the popular hosting providers.
