Windows Vista or Win7 or Win8

Windows 8 is a mistake made by Windows.. Best of these is: Windows 7.

i mention vista cause im still using on one of my pc's and im reluctant to update cause some software i have is not really genuine copy, and is 32bit. should i still upload win 7 then without loosing that software??
 
oh and for win 8 i figure it only look ok on smartphones

Tell me one windows release that havent had any bugs from the begining ;)

I am using Vista and havent had any bigger problems what i noticed, mostley hardware related problems
 
Win 7 using it for years never had a single problem, I tried win 8 but there is no point for it unless you have a touch device imo
 
Win 7 is too good. Tried Win 8 but not comfortable yet... I may need a touchscreen monitor...
 
Windows XP, don't plan on upgrading anytime soon either. I do a lot of console modding as a part time income! Fixing 360 red rings, dodgy drives and other forms of modding. Most of the software that I use for it is 100% compatible with xp. I tried upgrading to vista last year and getting the software to run on there was a nightmare so downgraded to XP again and never looked back. Plus I have a stripped version of xp that boots on 19 processes, my computer is rapid as f**k.
 
I have no personal experience with Win8, however I can say that the people at our company who have looked at it have already announced that we will stay on 7 and will give 8 a pass. We will likely move onto whatever happens after 8.

I thought I was the only one still stuck on XP. I will switch to a mac before I go to 7 or 8 or any other OS. I have a XP corporate disk that I load as frequently as I change my underwear. My virtual machines take a beating..lolol
 
Tried the windows 8 beta and i didn't like it. The metro thing sucks. Go with win 7, perfect in my opinion!
 
Been using Windows 7 Ultimate and it works awesome! :)
