Hi, I record alot of videos nowadays with hypercam. I like the quality and you can clearly see what I'm doing but when I clip it together with other movie files it becomes all shitty and you can barely read the text, I always chose the best quality option in the movie maker. Do anyone have a solution or an similar program that doesn't have this issue but still is similar to WMM?

a) Don't use Windows movie maker, horrible exporting options. There are many, many freeware NLE alternatives out there that render at a high quality

Here's a random list: http://provideocoalition.com/index.php/freshdv/story/free_non_linear_editing_software/

Of course, the best software to use is Final Cut Pro 7 or Adobe Premiere, but that costs moolah.

I have Premiere, but for what your doing I genreally use Camtasia and it's native editor to combine recordings, quickly edit, add narration etc (saves time opening up Premiere for the final edit when I can do I rough cut then and there).
Camtasia 3 used to be FREE, unfortunately that deal seems to have ended. You can get 7 now I believe.

Hi, two effects that I use alot is the transition effects "fade, flip" in WMM. Do you know a software that includes both of those?

Right, I have been trying to use the program but it doesn't seem to support files that is saved as an .avi directly from after effects? It's kind of laggy and sometimes closes it self. I don't like it. I tried 2 others from the list that you gave me, nothing to have.
Can you recommend me a program that isn't as complicated as lightworks but has the basic effects such as changing audio, cutting and shortening videos and some transaction effects. Cheers

Check out the site techsupportalert. That is the site I usually use to find good free software. They have an article there that discusses video editing.

Got sony vegas pro instead, thanks anyway!
