Windows 8.1 brings back the Start button but not the Start Menu, stupid in my opinion.

Windows 8 is great. After I installed "Start 8" by Stardock I have no complains.

Windows 8 is just garbage. If you used windows all your life and tried windows 8 you would be like wtf is this. The only way i would run windows 8 is to install a program called "classic shell" it's a must have program and its free to install.

I don't mind it.
We use pokki start menu that puts in a win7 style start menu.

I think micro$oft just announced they will have the start button back on windows 8.1 (blue) which is due sometime this year.

You can also use Stardock Start8 which will bring back your start menu.
The only problem I have with w8 so far is that not all programs and applications are compatible. But I'm sure updates will be made soon enough.
