Windows 11 will have native support for Android apps

You will be able to download and run Android apps just like you do on your Android phone. Now we don't need bluestacks to run apps. I can see a lot of opportunities like syncing mobile & desktop, file transfer, running multiple apps (like IG, Snapchat) etc. Let's see how good it will be to create fresh accounts.

Waste of Money for me. My next Laptop after 2026 will be based on Ubuntu.
 
Not quite i think. I think (i might be wrong) it only gives you app emulation, and not a whole android vm (that way it might not give you some of the underlying apis). M1 macs already support app side loading (or whatever that is called), and you can barely use all the apps. Only some apps are supported. Don't be that enthusiastic yet lol.
 
I just read that unless you have a working webcam, windows 11 won't install on a laptop. But its no wonder they are trying to cross the mobile divide, as windows is supposed to be the most popular development platform.
 
No not RIP because You can create Many Phones on nox and install different version of the app on each one
but 11 will provide only one

They are trying to cross the mobile divide since Windows 8 but they couldn't accept Android. Now they realized their mistake and adding native support for it. This could make or break their OS depending on how users receive it.

Apple already has emulation for the m1. It's windows who is responding to that. :/
 
This is a great thing if it will be fully functional because it will be easy to hide in a pile of hundred of millions of users. Less footprints to worry about.
 
The good news
For all those who use Windows. Simultaneous management of Android without Bluestack and similar software was really hard.

What about drivers for harware from manufacturer like Dell or HP? That is for sure not coming. Everyone will need to purchase new PC to use Directx 12. Its a waste of money to buy Windows 11 based PC when pirated Windows is available.

Isn't this telling something suspicious of privacy issues as always.

Windows 11 or not, if you care about Privacy move to Mac OS. Just my 2cents.
