I need some help in marketing a contest where I give away my house to the 200,000 person that fills out a affiliate offer for me.

Anyone know of scripts that I should use to keep track of who signs up and fills out the offers and where can I market this to get all the people to enter?

Might try some of the incent scripts.. good luck

I would do it by giving away raffle tickets in exchange for doing offers then once you get to 200,000 you'll do the drawing and "give" the house away.

I was thinking that people would come and fill out an offer and anyone who signs up under that person gets credit for each of them people who fill out the offers as well and the person with the most filled out offers should win the house. does that sound right.

Instead why not just pick a person randomly from the 200,000 once you have reached that number of applicants?

In the state I live in you can not do it that way, you have to play by the rules which means no chance or luck games but you can give away your house with an essay contest. But I like the idea of having lots of people telling all there friends about this house and get them all involved. Thinking Viral.

the problem with this is a lot of people are gonna try to put in multiple entries.....

Thinking Viral.
IMHO I think this is a great idea blackboozer and it certainly has a different ring to it.

I know you weren't looking at the raffle ticket angle but even if you could have done that, that's kind of old hat and it's also different enough to be unique from that English guy in Australia - who sold his life on eBay last year.

As has already been mentioned (by shamster25), assuming you can weed-out the duplicates, then I think you're onto a winner here AND...there are literally dozens and dozens of other things this same tactic can be used to promote as well.

Chok Dee (that's Thai for "Good Luck") then and I'll be watching your updates with interest. :)

Well update is that I`m looking for cheap crappy traffic that is good enough to please the cpa companies, anyone know of a company or two that can deliver this. I have a family that is going to fill in all the offers but of course need this to look legit as far as traffic goes right..

"Cheap crappy traffic" isn't going to convert nor is it going to make your site go viral. Why do you want to take your initial great idea and just make it into another shitty CPA scam?
You had the best idea already posted here and it DOES work nearly every time.
Get in touch with a local newspaper (or get in touch with newspapers from 5 cities and pretend to be local to each).
Make it sound like a great new idea unique to your area and what a big hit it already is.

You'd be amazed what a local newspaper can do for you.
It won't do 200,000 but it will get the ball rolling, which is what you need now :)

I will take your advice have to invest in some good script for this any ideas where to buy some, I downloaded all the ones in the download section but nothing is working the correct way.

When you get to 199,999 let me know, I'll sell it back to you for half the price ;)

I saw this done in LA several years ago. The library was raffling off a house at $100 ticket. House was worth $2.5 Million and library was trying to sell 50,000 tickets. The idea was that an investor bought the home for $900K, remodeled it and then sold the hose at a discount to the library for $2 million. Both parties made a killing.

wow, what a brilliant idea!

what cpa offers would support something like this? any one that is listed as accepting "incentive" traffic?

hypothetically, if there was an offer at some affiliate place that paid $3 to their motorcycle message board, and allowed incentive traffic. you could advertise that you're giving away a $10,000 bike to the 10,000th person to sign up. you collect your $30,000, and give away $10,000.

and if you were in fact decent enough to give away the 10k, youd have to keep track of every submission somehow (via some post back from the cpa offer? ) and advise everyone to keep their email confirmation.
perhaps assign every completed offer a unique number, and on a specific day, draw the number and post it on the website?

hey that's one original idea that you have!!! if you're from detroit, each house is only about $10,000.

I'm from the bay area, san francisco, you wouldn't want to give a way a house here would you?
