win 8 update issue

not that i like win 8 but i got it with the new computer, i was fine till other day when it upadetd to 8.1 now i cant be on the web and listen to music normaly somethings wrong with config, so i was trying to restart and press last known figuration, but when i restart there are no options when i press F8,,

any solutions would be greatly appreciated ( that is without erasing the system, or remarks like that)

You're not the only one apparently..
There are folks out there having trouble with win 8.1.
Have you tried googling for a solution? Alternatively, you can downgrade it back to the previous version.
 
You could try doing a system restore to a point where you still had your 8.0 or what ever the last version was, if it's still a possibility to do that in win 8.

Google is the best answer. Sometimes F8 doesn't work. open a command promt "windows key + r". Then type msconfig. Find the diagnotic boot option and hit it. It will reboot to repair options.

But most likely the best solution is uninstall and reinstall everythign that is not working.

I had the same F***ING issue with 8.1 update. I wasted 2 hours trying to fix and research on google. In the end the only thing that worked was uninstall thunderbird, chrome and firefox (programs that stopped working for me) and reinstall. SUCKED.

FYI: all my settings and emails were not deleted after I uninstalled programs.

The strange thing was the issue only occured on my main user account. My other user accounts seem to work fine.

I am buy a Mac and going to run Parrells. I'm sick of losing money and time with windows.
I need to grow a pair and use linux one day.

LOL I thought the same thing for a second. But to be honest I go in and out of other forums for years and THIS IS THE ONLY forum with good info and GOOD people.
Also let's face it without a function computer we can't do shit... lol

im sorry to offend your highness, i have been member of this forum long before u probably even knew how to turn the computer on.
ive seen a lot of bs posts on this forum just like on other forums, and it seems like im not the only one with win 8 issue, and i couldnt find concrete answer on google so i turned to this forum cause most of the time i had problem with something i got answer for it

yeah dude thanks, yeah with this new win 8 i had problem with monitor config and photoshop and then at the same time with all the videoplayers, so annoying
