Win 7 or win 10?

Hello, I don't just rely on windows defender so I have Eset smart security premium / Bit Defender 2019 premium + Malware bytes paid version. And I don't open shady sites, no porn sites and nothing.

My work is youtube + heavy browsing (related to work) + editing only.

I know MS has discontinued support for Win 7 but I still see many people and company rocking Win XP and Win 7 with latest service packs and with strong antivirus and anti-malware software and don't open any "entertainment sites". Only strict work purpose.

Also, the current windows 10 update made my system slow. Many users are complaining.

So, I wanted to know that is Win 7 more privacy-friendly than Win 10 and what problems can I face on Win 7 if I'm careful with browsing and such like I said above?

Looking for opinions and what windows are you using for your work nowadays?

Win 7 is working fine for me.
 
Windows 10 is a good choice friend...I am happy with it.
 
Windows 7 all the way. I finally tried Windows 10 a few months ago. It lasted 2 months. My system crashed, it had an fairly common error which has NO KNOWN FIX other than to RESET, without even being able to keep your files. The PC just would not start up. The official fix was to reset. That was when I reverted to Windows 7, I should've never left.

Microsoft still supports Windows 7 for essential upgrades until 2020. I have never had any issues. It isn't unsafe.
 
I'm using Windows 7 on my work PC. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. It was a pain to remove all the pre-installed junk.
 
Windows 7 + Outpost Firewall + AVG antivirus + install all possible new drivers through Driver Booster (for example).

I don't recommend use Windows 10 with any patches, fixes and etc.

Win10 but disable all services which collects your data and install Malwarebytes.Your good to go then!

I've been 5 years on Windows 7 and switched like eight months ago to Win 10 Pro, I was really reserved as I'm the old school guy who doesn't like changes but it works just fine for me, even faster than Win 7 ; I have my desktop in place, the start button it's there too. You should go for it.
 
Just uninstall the update you're unsatisfied with and don't install bigger system updates right away next time, let MS fix their shit. They cut down on costs a few years ago when they fired a lot of their programmatic testers, quality assurance people, so now the users the ones who test via their insider program. If you're already using Win 10, there's really no point in downgrading. With Win XP you face incompatibility issues these days, no surprise from a 17 year old OS, the same will be true for Win 7 in a few years, regarding both hardware and software. The lack of updates, official support isn't the main concern.

I use windows 10, no problem. Very fast

My work includes using word, excel, youtube, making websites, heavy browsing for work and some editing photos. I dont need any other apps. And I dont even need windows updates. I plan to use paid malware bytes + paid eset smart security/bit defender 2019.
I dont even open any shady sites and I dont click random links.

And I have heard win 7 is a bit better on privacy than win 10.
 
Windows 7 is for me the best OS made by MS and for me is the best choice in terms of stability and comfort of work.
