Other than the fact that this guys software sucks monkey dick, he is a shady prick.

He just tried to phish my AIM screenname:

I purchased CLdevastator from him months ago so if you have as well, you should be concerned about your personal information as of right now.

free web hosting LOL. That is funny lol

I agree. How does he expect someone to fall for a phishing scam that is hosted on free web hosting? This is not 1996 anymore. :lmao:

fail.

Wimsoftware got apparently infected with a virus which spreads via AIM. I used to get similar messages every now and then years ago when I still used instant messengers.

its a similar virus that used to spread on msn, just block the user and you're done. It comes online when the user off, and spams his contact lists so it can spread

His software is actually pretty good from what I have used. It isnt a phish attempt. its a known spam/virus that is going around and spreads via IM. I have gotten the same message from multiple friends accounts. just notify the victim that they should change their password.

This is true. My business partner has worked closely with the creator of CL Devastator and he received the same phishing message as well (my business partner). The creator of this software was apparently infected with a virus (most likely the one that has been mentioned above). I am willing to bet that he has a lot more important things to worry about rather than phishing AOL/AIM screen names. ;)

Phisher of his AIM is spreading those MSGs.

Anybody knows alternate contact to contact WIMsoftware?

They aren't replying to emails as well. I need to shift my license badly

yup. its called a spreader and they're annoying as hell. i see tons of people (or the same guy) using ringtones with these and i report every single one i get to their networks. beware if you wanna try it :) i suggest everyone do the same. don't let them prosper 1 bit the shady fucks don't even use a redirect they just do straight affil links most of the time.. (the ones I have seen at least) and if WIM was behind this i don't think it would have been that poorly setup.. he's been around for a while.. but what do i know people turn shady overnight here lately lol

Well my screen name is highly desired so I'm pretty sure he was trying to phish me. It's not the first time someone has attempted.
